The press are always harping on about manchester's musical past because they can't be arsed to do their research. Yes it is good, but manchester is good for loads of other reasons and the present manchester music scene/ artists deserves a mention. <br /><br />When people speak about the London music scene they are not labelled with having a specific london 'sound' they are just labelled as being 'good' or 'bad', which is as it should be. Unless you're one of those shallow people who like to compare anything to anything and you're lost without a banal musical reference point you can relate to.
